We are pleased to see the completion of the Clancy Jaguar and Land Rover project in Wheelers Lane, Dubbo. Walton Smith Consultants were the quantity surveyor for the project, involved in initial reports for the bank, progress payment reports throughout the project and the preparation of a tax depreciation schedules on completion, thus allowing for the maximum tax deductions for the dealership. Clancy Jaguar and Land Rover now has a modern new showroom and office, with aluminium cladding and glazed exterior finish. There is an undercover display area and the project was completed in approximately 6 months. Walton Smith Consultants is pleased to be part of the team to bring this project in regional New South Wales to completion.
Walton Smith Consultants, quantity surveyors and building consultants, is currently working on the new Parkes Police Station. This is a $14m project in regional NSW, located 360km from Sydney and 120km from Dubbo.
Work has been ongoing from the Pre-construction stages of budget estimates, reviews at DA submission stage, preparation of Bill of Quantities through to the current construction stage of attending meetings, accessing variations, and checking progress payments. Completion is expected mid 2013.
Walton Smith Consultants have been consultant quantity surveyors on several of the new Police Stations in regional NSW, including Wagga Wagga, Dubbo and Orange and have been engaged for the proposed police station in Walgett
Walton Smith Consultants have recently been appointed as the Quantity Surveyors for the $31million extension to Mars Petcare factory in Bathurst. This is an extension to their existing dry kibble manufacturing facility.
MARS Bathurst is where brands such as PEDIGREE®, WHISKAS®, MY DOG®, DINE® and SCHMACKOS® are manufactured. MARS Australian business began when they commenced selling the MARS® bar here in 1954.
